Fusion Tapestry-Print Shirt

Shirt in floral jacquard and satin, created using the fusion technique. The print is inspired by couch tapestry, part of a wider exploration of interiors, where domestic fabrics and flea market finds are reappropriated as unexpected materials of dressmaking. A frayed lace collar frames the deep V opening at the front. Long sleeves with button cuffs. Our four white stitches appear at the back; the opposite of a label.

Interiors: Since the 1990s, interior fabrics and decorative surfaces have been reappropriated as unexpected materials of dressmaking. Removed from their original context, familiar domestic references are transformed through clothing and accessories.
