Fusion Draped Cupro Coat

Floor-length coat created with a jersey stocking overlay bonded onto the finished garment, creating a 3D trompe-l'œil effect where the underlying construction is visible. A free, unbonded stocking allowance is left along the lapel, back yoke, hem and cuffs. The neckline opens into a long draped lapel with a button-front closure, back storm flap and wide sleeves. Our four white stitches appear at the back; the opposite of a label.

Fusion: Distinct garments, materials and archetypes are joined together to create a new form. The boundaries between their original identities are intentionally blurred.
