Maison Margiela’s packaging is founded in the core philosophies of the house. Luxury carrier bags, boxes, garment bags and pouches rendered in the authentic colour of toiling fabric echo the beating heart of haute couture. The optical white handles of carrier bags appear frayed to evoke the trace of time as an evolution of the house’s original anonymous fabric totes.
